So I'm looking for member staff. I have people in mind, but I do not want to volunteer or pressure anyone. Two quick things:
1) If you were a mod before, and you still want to be, you're basically guaranteed position. Just PM me.
2) No nooobs. If you haven't been here a good while, or you don't know all of the current exec staff, then skip this thread
I had a nice long list of things that moderators had to take care of... but damnit we lost it. Basically, if you are unaware, a moderators task consists of a few things:
1) Keeping threads clean and on topic as best they can be.
2) Keeping the peace, squelching arguments and flame wars before they start. This does not cover bickering or random banter.
3) Closing and creating replacement threads for things such as forum games and random randomness.
4) Creating new threads to spark fresh discussion. This is one of your highest priorities.
If you were a mod before and don't feel like having the responsibility, you're not required to still be a mod.
This thread is being closed and stickied. I will bump it until Friday, at which point I will select staff from those who were interested. I'm currently going in the atmosphere of four mods. I consider all of the executive staff to also be mods, so we don't need too many more. Also, please PM me the best times that I can reach you so that we can schedule some kind of a chat in order for us to all get acquainted with the responsibilities.
