As imreallybored.com approaches its 9th year, I wanted to step in and give a few updates on where things are in the world of Lougan. I've been really, really swamped. In the last few weeks, I've been informed that my current job as it stands will no longer exist and that I will be promoted/laterallymoved/orgchartrestructured to a new division of the university. I will officially be leading the university in its social media initiatives. In other words, I'll have responsibility. Which I think its pretty awesome deal, especially considering all the crap I've gone through last couple of years. Plus, my workload feels like its actually going to decrease some.
Either way, I've missed the hell out of this place. As many of you know, I have been doing a good bit of behind the scenes work when I can. I've significantly upgraded the power of the server, updated the backend software that runs the website, and various other things. Hopefully everything has been going well. No one has emailed me or messaged me to complain... so I guess its going well. My hope is that I'll actually be able to spend more time on here once my job transition is completed.
So I just wanted to say thanks for sticking around all of these years!
