We have no true computer forum (at least I can't find it, I'm tired and drinking) but when I turn up the brightness of my new computer up all the way, I think it burns my retinas.

Yes, I'm saving my eyes AND the environment by conserving electricity. I win at life.

But who would have answered the IS help line?

Way to think about only yourself. Geez. dry.gif

Someone else. If I'm on vacation, I really don't care.

I get approximately 4 weeks of vacation a year, 1 week is mandatory between all the holidays we get off if we want them or not (Remember, I'm not in patient care). That leaves 3 weeks of PTO that I'm supposed to take every year. So far, I think i've taken about a week or two total.

In truth, whoever was on call at night would probably just forward the phone to them in case someone called. I've done it before. Users don't like it, but I still answer the phone, and it keeps me from getting overtime when I'd be doing ALMOST the same thing, so Administration likes it.

I'm in Melbourne and I'm fairly hungover after two hard nights on the jungle juice.

Australian jungle juice inflicts bad hangovers. Possibly some of the worst hangover beer ever.
