Or does it win when it doesn't require payment for applications?

Don't give me any of that crap about it not having applications, Nokia doesn't charge for them, niiiiggggaaaaa!

80% of the time, I wear the following attire. Please note the pockets. They are the perfect size for paperback books. wink.gif

Do you need the Apps?
Some research came out recently showing that nobody uses most apps after the first time.
Of course a few are very popular, I.e: Facebook. But are they really anything to shout about?

The number of free apps on the itunes store probably out numbers the number that cell phone will sell in units.

Some apps are worth shouting about. Some apps I use on a very limited basis. It depends what I'm doing. I use Map app when im going to work to find out where traffic is so I can take the fastest route to work, I use the Belmont WiFi App to connect to the schools wireless, I use WeatherBug to get the current conditions, I have the WeatherChannel for its awesome weather maps and video, I use Facebook App to post pictures, Banking App to look at my bank balance, Orb Live App to have my terabyte media server available to me anywhere I go, ICANHASCHEEZBURGER app to look at LOLcats and FailBlogs, Fandango to buy movie tickets and watch trailers, Google Earth cause its fun, Price is Right because Plinko is the shit, UNO because Maren and I can play multiplayer over the universities wireless network even though we are in different buildings, Dog Whistle which makes noises a dog whistle makes that drives the cats bonkers, Ambiance for listening to the sounds of waves crashing or better yet the quiet thrumming of a class 7 warp core to help you relax.

There are alot more... thats just my first few pages. But yes... I use my apps. I think when people use their apps only once, they get it because they are in the mood to do whatever that App does. Kinda like iTunes... everyone has a super huge library. They just buy a song cause it sounds good at the time, and it just gets lost in the mix. Hell, its just 99 cents.

Ahh yes, did I also mention that ebooks are half the price of their paper counter parts, the author still gets more money from it, and its better for the environment? All of you must hate Authors, Cheaper prices and the Earth as well.

P.J.s at work are awesome. Not to mention, if some jerk bleeds all over me, I don't have to worry about my good clothes getting messed up.
