I was joking. I guess I'll have to make everything explicit in the future.

I dunno, for me... having great handling, sporty look, and good gas mileage was a great deal compared to ok handling, average look, and good gas mileage... especially since they were about the same price.

Well we went looking today and are hoping to go back out on Wednesday to do some test driving. The favorite right now is the Toyota Camry. Also quite liking the Chevrolet Malibu and Impala. Other ideas include the Honda Accord and the Pontiac G6. So now its a matter of test driving and crunching some numbers to see what is going to work out the best. I have appointments with both my banks over the next couple days so I'm actually starting to get really excited about the idea of a brand new car

So I have decided to hold off on a new car for the time being... just because my repair on my car ended up only being $200... apparently it was some arm piece that was bent, not the axle so that made a world of difference. I did get approved for the loan at the banks $17,000 at one, and $27,000 at the other... but I'm going to hold off until spring or summer. It will give me time to pay down my student loans a bit, as well as I would rather start driving a new car on decent roads and not the hellish scene that driving is right now.
I kind of enjoyed this whole shopping experience, I learned a lot and don't feel like such a dumbass about cars anymore. Also I've grown to appreciate my car so much more... I mean for me to get a new car like the one I currently drive would probably cost $60,000.. it's ridiculous how many bells and whistles my car has... I would probably have to cry to get rid of it.
Anyways.. thanks for all the input guys
And hopefully this summer I'll buy a new car for real!
