So... wait.

Einstein went back in time to eliminate Hitler, causing the Russians to grow into power and start a global war (Allied vs Soviet). After the war ended in Allied victory, Yuri came into power and managed to psychically dominate the world... so either the Soviet's or the Allies used the time machine to go back before Yuri did that in order to fight him... and, after that, the Soviets went back in time to take out Einstein before any of this... and caused the rising of Japan?

I'm not a huge fan of RTS, but I really like that I can follow the plot.

its one thing for video games to get high powered voice work (like GTA3) but no other series that I can think of has had as much star power with such cheese as this. Its like Mars Attacks! only good.

So, is this game coming out on other systems but PC?  Because I'd love to pay for it, but EA is telling me not to.

Of course, four years later you could get the pirated version and no one would blink an eye, but I have no problems purchasing a game...but I do have problems *renting* one.

Considering Spore was available for pirate-ing BEFORE the retail release, I don't know why you'd have to wait 4 years.

Because that's when the heat is off. I'm not saying that it won't be pirated near its release, I'm sayin the proverbial "heat" will be off about four years after a game's release.

yeah, i'm not a big Gemma fan...but I do loves me some Jenny

and this is one series that I absolutely don't mind paying money for. the production and FMV stuff makes it all worthwhile to me. The story is cheesy, and its just an RTS, but its one series that at least appears to be cared about by developers in all its incarnations (except for their first attempt at an FPS, but that was a different team)

And again, the money's not a concern. It's RENTING the game that is the concern. I have (re)-installed Starcraft at least 20-30 times. If I had to call Blizzard 15-25 times to reinstall, they would have killed me by now. If I buy the game, then that's that. Calling for a re-install is the biggest bunch of bullshit there is. Steam isn't so bad because you can take your game to offline mode, and you can install and play your game on any computer you want as long as its the only one that is playing the game. But SECUROM and the like (Starforge, etc) are where I draw the line.
