Didn't you once post about how you have to steal things, and thats really the only reason you go to the mall?
I reserve the right to say "Don't be a prick," yet be one myself.

FUCKING EXPENSIVE.
I lived in the northern area of Cambridge, and my rent for a 2-bedroom detached house was £1600 per month. Today that's $3104. I also remember my utilities being an insane amount.
Seriously. I never understood how people can actually live there. I made a halfway decent salary at the E-5 level, and still could not have lived in the UK. Luckily, the U.S. government paid for all of my expenses (yay cost-of-living allowance).
Plus, I've never seen so many taxes. Has anything really changed since the 15th century? A tax just to watch TV is insane.
The only thing I believed in paying extra for was the MOT. It's nice to drive at night without headlights beaming into your face. But it's still the same old medieval road tax.. just configured differently.
I was told that was a requirement.... hrm, conniving Brits ya are.

There is no TV tax. What you're on about is the TV licence. It's how the BBC collects money instead of advertising.
But we do have far too much tax. Just wait a few years, then once the Tories are back in control there will be less tax: Fact!

I actually have some of this in my cabinet. It's probably no longer edible.. I bought it in 1999. It's just great to have people over who open the cabinet and ask my boyfriend why he has (a) spotted dick.

I don't know what it is.. but when I look at the bridge, I'm just happy. It's so beautiful and so creative. And it just makes me happy.

I love tower bridge. And I love the story of the American millionaire who bought the old London Bridge thinking he was buying Tower bridge. All he got was an old bridge with shops on...
