What is the point of all this?  You spawn in a womb, generate your body for approximately 9 months, live for approximately 60-80 years, and then die.  WHY?!

If we have an afterlife, why bother to have a life?  If we live our life well, we should be rewarded, but why not just all kill ourselves now and see if we get rewarded immediately?

And if we don't have an afterlife, then why the hell are we alive in the first place?  What's the fucking point of all this?  Surely there's more to it than amassing wealth, reproducing, eating, sleeping, drinking, 
and taking a crap every now and then?

I mean, I love life, but I don't get it.  Why are we here, where are we going, and why have life if the afterlife is so great and/or crappy, or why die if life is the only life we have to live?  And where did we exist before we were born, anyways?

That's the little thing I have comfort in...that I did not know where I was before I was born, so I must have been ok enough to be born, so perhaps it will be ok when I die...but damn it, I would like some answers.

And it doesn't seem like there are any.
I wish there was a way to communicate with those who are dead.  If only to ease my troubled mind.

Carl, I think about those same things every single day.

I want answers too. But I figure they probably won't just come, so why not just be optimistic and have faith that the afterlife will be amazing? That way living this life won't seem so horrible, since it is good for something in the end.

That's just my take, anyway.
