I'm on book five of the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. When I first came to IRB, I was on book two. Holy hell I'm reading slowly. I'll read through half a book in one sitting then won't pick it back up for a month... meh.

I used to read a lot before college- I could read 2 or 3 books a week. College cut down on that, but I'm trying to get back to reading more. I miss it.

I'm trying to find a new author to try, but I would like to read the new book by Gregory Maguire called Son of a Witch. It's the sequel to Wicked, the story of the Wicked Witch of the West.

I'd also like to re-read The Chronicles of Narnia, especially The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe. I'd like to read that particular one before the movie comes out.

"Year of Wonders", a historical fiction novel about a town in England who decided to all stay in the village and risk the plague that had broken out there instead of fleeing and potentially spreading it more. It's for my class on death and dying. We're reading it as part of the suicide section.

i'm reading a series called Fable. It's about fairy-tale types that leave their homelands after being invaded and come to live in New York. It's an interesting idea.

PI IN THE SKY (counting, thinking and being)

by: John D. Barrow

It's a neat book that explores where mathematics comes from, what it is, and where it is going to take us if we fllow it to the limit in our search for the ultimate meaning of the universe.

It starts out by investigating if we created mathematics or something inherent in nature.

That's all I've read so far, but it is supposed to combine theology, mathematics and its history.

I'm going to re-read The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe by C.S. Lewis because the movie is coming out soon.

I also should re-read The Goblet of Fire... if there's time. It's been much longer since I read Narnia.

i'm currently reading naked by david sedaris - and it's really awesome. it's a collection of short stories from his life [embellished i'm sure] and they all take place in my home town, raleigh. so the places he's talking about and some of the common traditions i know about. and that makes it pimp.
