I move to change the name of this forum.
The L-word is horribly outdated and no longer used. The social stigma attached to those who actually have leprosy completely overshadows the true facts of the disease, and therefore the word should not be continued to be used.
Trust me, after visiting the leprosy center on Moloka'i you gain a whole new respect for the aunties and uncles who have leprosy and their feelings towards that word.
